Our Field Trial Program 

We compete in grouse trials and walking shooting dog trials, and feel that this is an essential part of our breeding and training programs. Field trials allow us to see other people's dogs and to prove our dogs by the closest thing to an objective standard possible -- the opinions of many different judges, most of who are experienced bird dog people. We also encourage our clients to participate in field trials. It is a great place to see great dogs and meet some very good people who are drawn together by the love of class dogs, the woods and grouse. It also is a great family sport, and allows you to enjoy your dog in the off season and adds a great new dimension.
