Great Puppies Start With Great Females

The females we use for breeding are completely finished class grouse dogs that have all of the natural qualities we look for. We do not use "brood bitches" based on pedigree -- all of our breeding females are selected for grouse dog performance, disposition, hard hunting in the toughest of conditions, conformation, style, pedigree, great noses, and responsiveness to training and handling. They are the kind of dogs you would want to go grouse hunting with, or take to a grouse trial. Many of them have field trial wins.
